Thanks again Alex. The point is not to do things to earn points, but if you have points you can make a point to use them for other things.
I travel so much that I have hotel and airline points that don’t make sense for me to use. Where am I going to fly by myself, I’d need more points for my spouse and child. But that would take forever to collect and probably won’t agree with our travel schedule anyway. So trade ’em in for gasoline cards, dining certificates, or Amazon and iTunes gift cards (which substitue for great Christmas gifts too!)
