Town Hall For Hope

I will stop posting articles on how the world is NOT coming to an end after this post, or at least try to.

Dave Ramsey is going to do a nationwide simulcast.  Well, maybe that’s not the right word.  Broadcast?  No, that’s not right either.  Let me describe what “Town Hall For Hope” is:th4h_homepageheader

On April 23rd Dave Ramsey will be live in Oklahoma City, on stage in front of 2,000 attendees.  There will be a live broadcast over the internet and possibly some radio stations and/or television.  Churches and organizations can go to Town Hall For Hope.com for details and to register to participate in the broadcast.  But it isn’t just a show with him speaking, he will also be taking questions from the audience, phone, email, YouTube, FaceBook, and even Twitter.  This will be a nationwide (possibly worldwide) interactive event.

Lots of people are scared and without vision.  If you have been watching television, or even our President’s address to the nation since his inauguration, then you will have heard many sad stories about how bad our country is.  Well, a bunch of us haven’t watched the news and have decided “not to participate in the recession” and are doing OK.  This event will be a message of hope and vision, and a lesson in life to say that America will be OK no matter how bad this time in our history seems to be.

If you are doing well or are hurting financially, this will be a GREAT way to get a quick shot of financial penicillin since much of what is causing this economic slowdown is fear.  For more information, go to TownHallForHope.com to find a location near you.  The event is free to attend, and you will probably get to meet a bunch of neat people wherever you end up going.
